Palm Valley does not go via the Mereenie lateral, it is one end of the main Amadeus-Darwin pipeline, so it won't have an impact. The Mereenie lateral joins the main A-D pipeline about 40km northwest (downstream) of PV.

I guess the concern here is that there is a similar 'target' for Palm Valley field - they have said they plan to up the rate to 20 TJ/d from memory, to help fill the NGP ullage. So if PV-13 fails, will the PV target be downgraded like the Mereenie target appears to have been post WM-26? In both cases, the root problem appears to be well deliverability rather than plant or pipeline capacity. Capacity can be upgraded if the gas is coming from the wellheads.
