Interests of Directors, executives, Directors Association, Accountants, Auditors, ASX , politicians etc., are reflected in corporations law / public listed companies administration. Shareholders are not organised to impact the situation and until they stop seeing each other as rivals, and co-operate to take action to change these things the current situation continues. In absence of leadership in these matters it is much easier for shareholders to " walk by " issues and sell shares. And so subsequent generations of naive investors live through and replicate the experience.
