I'm enamoured of buying passive indexes, but I originally bought CTN for some small cap exposure after some good write-ups. I didn't imagine that so much time, money and energy would be expended by active managers fighting over who can have the privilege of choosing underperforming small caps.
Share price seems remarkably quite close to NTA. In the future outflows by disgruntled shareholders may be offset by CGA supporters hoovering up bargains.
I'm inclined to sell out once the ship steadies and just swap it for VGS as a hedge against impending Property Bubble Burst!
