Specifically the point I would wish private benefactors to get is that of spending a penny (on QFT) to save a pound (in treatment). Treatment, I agree Bill et.al. have 'got' already. Gov'ts generally have not got this point and continue to have a bob each way on QFT v TST...... this IS and has been the crucial issue for CST... individual Dr's are coming across, aka organic growth = doubling of sales yr on yr...they like having a report from their pathology testing laboratories (let alone that they might understand the superior science/treatment indications of a QFT result) BUT the company making legislative replacement of TST with QFT continues to grind on with each new recommendation growing in its ambit but like I say still having a bob each way by saying in effect the TST is almost as good so no real need to change to the new test (QFT) if you don't want to.
Eventually yes i agree the third world will come into the tent, of cured/treated folk but don't overestimate TB's importance to their political systems.
