jimjim1 >> Don't PE's tend to be forward looking?<< Of course it does. A little naive statement/question so let’s leave it as a throw-away comment.
>> Good luck using your online brokers info for FA analysis....<< For your information, since you appear not to be familiar with this, there are other ways to accumulate and calculate information including some good software programs/models. I certainly don’t rely on some 3rd party >>fancy spreadsheets in 'secret reports'<< for pumped up guidance.
>>....It's probably why you missed CST at under $1.80<< Did I jimjim1 ? You apparently know as little about my investment/trading style as your warmed-up mate ! My first entry was well below $2. That entry was after being on the sideline watching a steady fall in CST’s sp over a prolonged period of time. Sold that initial investment on a high volume day in August when the stock failed to follow through. Good profit. Isn’t that what it is all about - ROI. Since then I have made a few trades in CST. All profitable but nothing like the initial one.
imo CST is currently an expensive stock with volatile earnings and FX risk. Without more exposures to 'the big end of town investment community' the sp isn't climbing any mountains in a hurry.
Watching on the sideline for positive signs – if and when? No hurry the way i see it. Good luck with yours jimmy.
Investment and trading styles differ from participant to participant – that is what makes a market. IMHO – DYOR
