A typical cyanide-based processing plant costs around $30 million, whereas the new technology has a lower capital investment costing as little as $2-2.5 million to build.
I agree this method may not apply to the BBX ore, however, it at least shows that technology continues to develop, enhance and improve extraction methods. Greener extraction at a lower capital costs looks good to me. There may possibly be a place for this technology as part of the processing circuit for the BBX ore; however, I am merely speculating.
We have had our fair share of posters in here espousing their flat earth policies in so much as BBX will never be able to crack a workable extraction method for this unusual Brazilian Gold rich ore. I and I’m sure many other shareholders have confidence in Jeff and the team and the ongoing work to develop a suitable Gold producing trial mining plant.
Cheers and very best regards: Andy
