The Telegram ICO looks like it's getting huge interest - presumably because Telegram itself is a well known product even outside of the cryptocurrency world.
If people are flocking to Telegram because it's backed by a well known name, then I can see big problems as the trend towards 'corporate' coin issues continue, and people ditch all these alt coins created by random people, with random names (Dogecoin? NEM? NEO?) because they perceive coins created by household names as higher in quality. Who wants Dash coin or Tron coin when you can buy Facebook coin or Mitsubishi coin, which are backed by very large and well established organisations?
