For the next 3 to 12 months think of it this way: the crypto market is bit like a single world stock market with mass participation, a recent history of spectacular gains, blue sky potential that can't be proven but can't be readily disproven and most of all - a half a billion people watching about 20 main coins.
The sheer amount of latent weight of money poised over those 20 coins is just massive. These are not obscure penjy stocks on the asx. Ripple is in the attention mindset of perhaps billion people or will soon be for example. A few hundred million might just invest a bit because of fomo.
