Maybe, but I see blockchain technology as a real paradigm shift - moving away from a central control point that has permeated all civilisations since we stopped being hunter gatherers. Kings, religions, banks, armies etc.were all controlled from one single point - now blockchain comes along and offers a digital database, decentralised, distributed, seemingly fully encrypted and virtually owned and directed by the everyday person in the street.
With the rise of bots across the ASX which I have witnessed progressively over the last decade, I am not too sure the stock market isn't one big computer game these days. (and the emergence of one Donald Trump certainly created the garden bed from which crypto would sprout. And sprout it has under his tenure).
