I'm not sure consumable sales will be 100% titanium? Isn't a part of TTT's agenda developing 'cocktails' of different metals to suit specific applications?
Agree it'll take a couple of years to generate a decent amount of consumables sales, but then I wonder what would happen to sales in Fincantieri order one or two machines, then once satisfied with the results, another 20! It's not unimaginable, I mean multiple (2 to ?) machines can be set up to work together on big, BIG parts.
Then let's imagine, how many Fincantieri are out there just waiting to discover TTT tech? 100? 200? 500?
Do I recall reading somewhere TTT doesn't have the exclusive rights to this tech for boat hulls? If not, who? BAE? Whoever it is, remember to take their powder consumption into account.
Thanks to all contributors, love your work. Have a great weekend.

I believe they can't build boat hulls but what about repair. It would take a lot of Ti to put a skin on a container or any large vessel but I imagine the Ti would not need to be the quality of say a golf club so I hope Aus has the ability to manufacture that powder.
