So far as I can tell our competitors are hardware vendors with some software off to the side. PME is a software developer/manufacturer providing a total solution - including implementation assistance - and is hardware agnostic.
In my experience, software developers such as PME are much more in tune with customer's requirements than hardware vendors, software being their/our core business.
There was a time when IBM and other computer manufacturers also produced application software to run on their hardware - not so any more.
I expect a call to PME head office in Richmond, Vic would be informative.
