Hello fellow HC members,

I have held CAJ shares now for 4 years and I started selling down yesterday, mainly to lock in a capital loss and offset against some gains. Long term I still like this company.

Purpose of my post is to vent some anger at the ridiculous, stupid takeover offer for IDX. I can't believe how stupid the board were to even contemplate this. Proof of this is the several posts from smart, fellow HC members who criticized the TO as soon as it was announced, including me. If we could see this as sheer Lunacy, then why couldn't the board?

Anyhow, I'm gonna have some fun here at the boards expense and here is a "soon to be released" market sensitive announcement from our wonderful board:

"Capitol announces $55 billion takeover offer for CSL":

"Today CAJ announces an off market takeover offer for all of the shares in CSL. The offer is 500 CAJ shares plus $45 cash for every CSL share. CAJ board have stated that a successful takeover will result in better, larger offices at a more prestigious address for senior CAJ management. New corner offices will even offer harbour views. The CAJ board believe this is in the best interest of current CAJ shareholders."
