    Yes Roamin and @Trees I put the 2 fine prints side by side and there was very little difference (what a painful, boring process!!) and anyway as previously said all they have to do to change the rules is give some notice, there is zilch we could do about it except cancel the card.

    We have deliberately left the limit at $3K to cap any possible losses from dodgy transactions (hasn't happened yet but quite possible one day). We will probably end up with the lowest limit on a platinum card ever but its plenty for us when paid in full every month.

    I have a fee free Westpac MC with a $20K limit but the big difference there is that Westpac charge interest from the day the purchase is entered on their fee free card so I have to transfer funds immediately to avoid being hit with extras. Its handy if I have exceeded my daily $1K EFTPOS limit but I rarely use it anymore and definitely never over the phone or internet in case of rogue operators who may just try to grab a few more funds than they are entitled to.
