Hi Fangk, to be honest I don't put too much importance on p/e but at the same time I find it useful as a guide when reporting season is upon us. Probably the easiest & common way to calculate is to look at the reported EPS - divide that into your share price & there is your p/e.

IPH reported 13.8c EPS for the half, so it actually sits at a current p/e around 25 so my earlier calc was a little off.

I think p/e needs to be viewed in conjunction with NPAT, debt on the balance sheet etc. to give a broader picture.
