thanks for the article. to that i would say nothing has changed,as the article points out the constitution does not allow foreigners to own land personally. It was like that thirty years ago when my sister married into the 'island'.Couldn't own land even though it was her money spent.... So if they have 'possession' it must be illegal. Good luck to the govt trying to garner avoided taxes,I wish our weak govt's were as vigilant.
i dont know how the constitution governs business side of things but If CCA pay their due taxes i would be very surprised if the Indo.Gvt would try and steal a multinat's asset.The ramifications would be catastrophic as well as an expensive loss off revenues. They may make rule changes to help domestic bottlers but you would think the boffins at CCA would have that scenario well and truly covered before CAAA stumped up $500 mil...?
it would curious to know if they ,cca, just rent land or structures.
