Thank you Retiredyoung, you have just confirmed my suspicions that the rules were written by the Manipulators for the benefit of the Manipulators. The retail investor puts in money to build an asset that will create wealth and in doing so undertakes a considerable risk. The Manipulator using the rules written for his benefit makes money where the risk is neutral ie zero. I use the term legal theft to desribe the process. No doubt a selected and privileged few will see it differently. I guess the word 'morality' is now reducant and greed is good.
