Hi Magpie (have to say not my favourite bird during September),
Reading the CAH blurb today I formed a similar view on the blue sky potential of CQT.
I took a small punt on CQT based on what turned out to be pure b******t sometime before April 2006 at which time I grabbed a bunch of options that circumstances prevented me taking a worthwhile quick profit from and I subsequently exercised.
Where I disagree with you is that, in my opinion the quality and integrity of "the suits" has improved with time and the merger will continue this. Refer to my post 6 June (link below) and remember that CQT was smashed down to 15c in late 2008.
All that said, brace yourself for some more short term pain Friday in light of the precious metal prices tonight. This won't change until the yanks publicly decapitate (or at least lock up) a few of the parasites responsible for the current economic chaos. If that looks nasty, thank you lucky stars you didn't invest in Bolnisi Gold, later to find yourself saddled with CDE - different as swimming with dolphins and crocodiles.
