the thing is you quite often are not slugging your customers - just morons.
They showed it on TV here in NZ where they may issue special electronic tags to diabled drivers and then if a car parks in a disabled park without one, the system sends a message to a meter inspecter to come and see who has parked in a disabled spot, and then they get pinged. The group that issues the disabled parking cards loves the system, the city councils seemed happy and CPZ looks like a good corporate citizen. The only one who looses out is the moron who illegally parks in a disabled space! Finally justice.
A bit like redflex - charge idiots and make the world a better place for all of us (especially if you are a shareholder - well maybe not in RDF's case)
