Where did I say the panels would fall apart? I didn’t. I said that if you tried to laminate three panes of glass, as chippydude claims they do, the sheets of glass would fall apart. They won’t stick together, as a plastic layer between two sheets of glass will. So no, I haven’t looked at one close up, because it doesn’t exist.

Well, our SEQ house has LED lighting throughout, 1.5kW of solar, still no solar hot water (not cost effective) and inverter ducted air conditioning, all easily retrofitted. And an annual power bill of less than $1,000 for four adults - the boys are technically adults, but still addicted to long showers. Not energy efficient?
