How much does a 1.2 x 2.1 panel, in frame, cost? 2.5 sq m. at 100W per sq m per day is 250W per day per panel, or 91kW per year. At 26¢ saving per kWh, that’s $23 per year.
So you’re saying that the triple glazed, framed, PV’d, wired panel only costs 5 years x $23 = $115? I bet you can’t buy a standard framed panel for that from G James. Then you’ve got the cost of wiring the building and inverters.
