3. This is the point you are missing, you are comparing solar panels V solar windows when you should be comparing standard windows V solar windows.

WHY? Because a building HAS to have windows anyway. 

If you are going to have to have windows, do you have standard windows that cost x, or do you have Clearvue windows that cost x+y?

Now the normal windows will never get paid back, but the Clearvue windows will generate electricity so can pay for themselves. Lets say they pay back the cost of x+y is 10 years. After 10 years x+y = $0, and for the next 10 years they save you money. The standard windows still cost x.
