I was updating details yesterday on the phone to iinet my phone carrier. The girl on the phone helping me with the details was based in Cape Town South Africa. I asked her, how popular is solar in Africa. How much is it used etc.
She said its about 50/50 Solar and said there is solar panels everywhere.
So South Africa is definately an advocate of Solar use on a large scale.
With their Population set to rise by 1 Billion people over the next 30 years, thats alot of extra demand for solar, considering the Fossil Fuel supply chain isnt likely to be able to rise at that pace.
