Given that the uv and infrared radiation is refracted to the boundaries of the panels, does it matter which angle the rays hit the glass.
I am thinking that the time of day won't matter much, as optimal pv conversion will move around the boundary as the angle of the sun changes.
I also believe that cloudy days do not reduce uv radiation by all that much.
Perhaps the reflective properties of clouds may even have a positive effect in harvesting rays?
