I suspect that we are going to make a lot of money out of this. The fact that the laminated glass also increases the insulation properties will appeal to both hot & cold climate regions. Double glazing is practically the standard in northern Europe
To those who are uninformed in relation to electronics, the devices in the video are powered through an inverter which converts the low DC voltage produced by the glass panel into 240VAC or 110VAC in the USA
