Ive put up a Calculator to determine what wire is suited to whatever Watts , Amps, Volts and distance.
This is just basic stuff, for whenever an Electrical Plan is done. It dosnt matter if you want to run a wire 500 meters down your back paddock to a shed for a power point. They will choose the correct wire to be able to achieve the required power at the shed without notable power loss. This is basic simple stuff. Im sure Electrical Engineers would have many more options than what is on that Calculator.
There would be every kind of wire available for any purpose required. So this is a non debatable topic.
Scientific Facts are simply not debatable. A highrise would have a Power box, meterbox with circuit breakers on every level. And in most cases the power generated from level 21 will be fed into level 21 at the closest power box.
There are dozens of different types of battery storage solutions, so the most suited for purpose in each application would most likley be used.
