I agree with the top half of this post but what my husband and I are the most concerned with is the energy storage issue, not the voltage. Without the energy storage this tech is extremely limited and basically becomes (as I've said numerous times today) a window with a couple of wires hanging out. I like this tech but I truly believe, when you add the energy storage to the equation, it becomes cost prohibitive.
This is a different point view from yours and several others but it doesn't necessarily make it wrong. Time will tell.
