They would use wire with much less resistance than that, and we are talking 30 watts not 6 watts.
The Calculator I checked at 30 watts and 1 amp, lost 2.7% over 1000 meters.
Here feed in whatever volts you want, this calculator says less than half a percent loss on 30 volts and 1 amp. Over 20 meters
Its peanuts.
