No offence but I think you may be talking from a position of privilege.

When you live in a highly populated country or city and you need to spend 80% of your pay packet on water or power, you will look to retrofit any structure with the necessary means to save either of these precious commodities.
Production at scale of CPV's product is obviously needed.
