The tech is designed for new Glass intallations into new Buildings and mainly new Glass exterior Highrises.

Most of those new to be built Glass Highrises have already priced in, insulated , laminated glass as the exterior because of the durability and also the energy savings in the Insulated Glass that has the laminated centre between the 2 layers of glass.

This is the Type of Glass that CPV can add their Solar tech inside of whilst the Glass is being laminated in the glass factory. In many cases it could be quite possible in the future to offer the Clearvue Solar glass for near on the same cost as other supplyers that dont have it.

There is a clear incentive for a Glass factory to apply for the Clearvue Licence so they can install this into their Glass they already are making, so it would then give them an edge in the Marketplace if they can offer this Solar tech in their Glass as well as Tint switching and opaque switching , and other tech.

So even if a Building had no intention to wire up the Glass, it would be wise to have this installed so at a future time they may want to wire it up, then no retrofitting would be required in the future.
