I think proving the technical concept is 90% of the 15 years of effort.
Providing mechanical/ physical improvements around the initial breakthrough, to scale up power production or delivery to the window frame is where CPV may seek further 3rd party assistance through let contracts.
The base power output of 30 watts only has to be upgraded to 45 watts and you have a 50% improvement.
An announcement of this magnitude will prove substantial, but not warranted as you are expected to continue in this vein.
My opinion would be not to go past a controlled step improvement in power output past 20% on each occasion.
Simple sales & business play.
Get the customer interested to want more, in incremental portions to ensure you stay in business tomorrow, the next day & the next.
