I hadn't heard about Ubiquitous Energy before seeing it mentioned earlier (in this post or some other post) but looking at it objectively, I would say that it is a superior product to ClearVue simply for the fact that you can apply it to existing buildings. ClearVue might be useful in new developments, but even then as the technology of each gets better surely it'll be easier to replace a film rather than remove the windows and/or window frames?
I invested (I don't really day trade) on the premise that ClearVue has a pretty good product, didn't realise there was a competing product out there. After a quick Google it seems that Ubiquitous Energy has signed an agreement back in August with Asahi Glass, which the article states is the largest producer in the world for flat glass. Also Japanese, compared to Chinese Qingdao Rocky Glass if that makes any difference (which it might in terms of the quality of the product).
A bit worrying I'd say.
