30 watts is peak, for 1 hour. I based the Calculation on 110 watts average per day.
There is light on average for 12 hours a day, But obviously the morning gets the East, middle of the day gets the North and later in the day gets the West.
There wouldnt be light on 3 sides at once, but most of the day would have light on 2.
Clearvue reckon they can boost the peak power to 50 watts, but the key to making it viable isnt Power boost, its getting the Clearvue panels down in price to the same price as non solar Glass of that Grade.
It looks like quite thick glass so the middle silicone layer or whatever is in the middle of the laminations must have good insulatng qualities for heat and cold.
Victor said in a Video that he thinks with volume supply they should be able to have the glass cost the same with the solar tech in it as compared to the same grade of glass without it.
So then in that case they have an edge in being able to sell high volume glass and make a royalty margin ,
