The key problem with your analysis is the embedded assumption that solar windows are a replacement for roof-top solar panels. They are not.
Solar windows are for applications where roof surface area is small compared to side surfaces of the building (e.g. tall buildings). Roof-top solar panels are of little benefit for tall buildings.
Hence the comparison, while logical on the surface, has no basis. No point in comparing different things with different applications.
and that’s just one application of solar glass.
