The last progress updates were excellent and showed a strong commitment to the cause our BOD.
However this importing of equipment to begin drilling is getting me worried....why does it take so long? Is it a question of paperwork errors? Are the authorities dubious as to if and when the equipment will be heading home. If not then I can see why Haiti might be treating the exercise as a permanent import scenario that would of course attract totally different duties.
I'm sure that extra cost wasn't expected and hasn't been priced in by the contractor.
So are we waiting for paperwork or has the contractor declared its all too hard and moved on? They have a business to run and I'm sure they would not appreciate loosing weeks if not months in downtime while equipment is being quarantined or processed in and out of country.
The SP has already declined 50% now so a little transparency via an update from our BOD would be the professional thing to do IMO
