There is little doubt now that there were few problems with Linc other than the Guvmint needed a sacrificial lamb to throw under a bus to keep in the good books of the Greens.

It is clear to me that CSG was seen by the government as being well advanced and, would be a big earner for the governments coffers. They needed to be seen to be doing something green so they withdrew their support for UCG even though there were no real issues against it.

Being a small fish they were happy to persecute Linc, and Carbon Energy, for the continued support of the Greens. We wonder why politicians and political parties are becoming so despised by the voters and voters are turning to the right wing parties like One Nation.

We are seeing the same in the USA where they are so sick of the lefties in the Democrats and are searching for someone to take the country back to it's traditional right wing soul.
