Seems like 2 parties are just buying and selling units between each other without trying to impact on price. Lots of the trades going through at market rather then sitting in the queue. Perhaps someone is trying to influence the liquidity by creating volume through this behaviour - is a minimum level of liquidity a requirement for institutions to buy into a stock? Just my thoughts...
