My understanding is that deployment on Azure or any other cloud platform provider for that matter is no guarantee of revenue. The deployment will allow solution providers to quickly and easily deploy a safe share server from an image stored within the cloud environment instead of building one up from scratch. The benefit for potential customers and solution providers is they can quickly and inexpensively put together a solution for a proof of concept with the customer that could open doors in terms of signing customers to the Covata solution and generating revenue.
From my perspective Ted and Co are on the right track with this strategy, it will just require time to execute.
The next 4C is more important as it may provide an update to shareholders on how Cipherpoint is progressing towards the USD300K revenue required before 31 Dec 2017 per the takeover agreement.
