We are long term holders of BOW, and have a reasonable size holding. We are very disappointed with the proposed sale to AOE. We were prepared to continue holding for the long term in the expectation that somewhere along the line we might get about $3 per share.
Although we think that it is a waste of time voting, we intend to vote against the scheme.
We have never taken any interest in options, and although we have read the relevant sections, are not sure how we should vote. Our guess is that if we support the cancellation of options the directors will receive the cancellation consideration. If not, they don't. Is this correct and does it only involve the directors, who we wouldn't give a penny to?
Could some kind person please offer some advice.
