re: john could be takeover target Their is no protective selling powers in the Single Desk. It is a furphy. And now the bull market has arrived it is a sellers market. The only way this can be reversed is if it becomes a buyers market. Global inventories are at their lowest levels since the 70s. Now there are 6.3 billion people in the world and cars using grain based ethanol. Weather has turned to cr/ap. Inputs have hyperinflated. I doubt we could produce our way out of this bull market ever because I can assure you every farmer in the world has been trying to overproduce to make up for fine margins.

Call it doomsdaying I really don't care. Them thar are the facts! Keep buying though. Some lessons are best taught the hard way.
