A guidance was given (EPS $0.95 - $1.10 down from the original $1.05 - $1.20) and the SP was smashed because of this guidance!!! Now they have delivered $1.05 EPS, which was the low of the original FY guidance and smack in the middle of the revised guidance..... Value investors noticed the overreaction and subsequent overselling of ANN and jumped in, today is the reward.
Agree the SP should not swing this much - however the market was 100% informed at all stages. Was a steal if you got in at $15, I averaged $17.24 on ANN which I am happy with. Sentiment changed to HOLD as we are fairly close to fair value around $22 IMO.
