Err, the company can't be held completely responsible for how the market choose to react to results when the results are actually within guidance previously provided.

The company previously provided guidance, the market it appears, for some reason didn't expect them to meet it. Company meets it's guidance, the market re-rates the stock.
Can't see how you could fault management. They can't waste their time repeatedly re-stating guidance just because a couple of analysts see a glass half full.
