That's a valid point that I haven't considered.
Bitcoin has many qualities that could appeal to the canny investor who maybe worried about global volatility. Hence the jump in value. It's not fool proof though and there could be hidden traps with Bitcoin.
I love any technology that can get around financial and government institutions getting there hands on your money. I look forward to blockchains being used safely for instant transfers of money and shares.
