Hi - high level costing, a 150 kW diesel engine operating at 75% load burns approximately 32 litres of diesel per hour. Take a diesel price of ~$1,40/litre - government rebate ~0.30 cents = $1,10/litre. Operating cost/year = $280,000/year. So to price a 150 kW TESS unit we could stretch this saving over say 5 years.. price of sale of 150 kW unit ~ $AU 1 Million. All rounded and based on assumptions - surely they can build it for less.
