At the conference, a couple of people from BOS co-presented but didn't mention BOS specifically in any abstacts. Good to see they know the science, but certainly no breakthroughs were announced.

The results were are waiting on now have been long-promised. In Nov 06 result of microbial induced corrosion bench-trials was due end of year 06. Having BOSOA options that expired end of year 06 I was keen to get that news, studies back to 2005 hinted at success. I was expecting the announcement every day. Anyway, the options expired out of the money. An announcement came on 23 Feb 07 that results were late and the results came end Mar 07.

So after waiting until 23 Feb for news of an announcement due 31 Dec 06 a few weeks late is nothing exceptional.

As the results in Mar were not more than 'comparable' to existing biocides I am expecting the bench-trials of BOS's anti-MIC compounds to go on for a lot longer yet.

Meanwhile.....maybe tomorrow? waiting for an ann can make you crazy.
