Report on anti-microbial effect on established biofilms in oil & gas pipes is due at end April. Fingers crossed.

I noticed that 30 Mar 07 anti-microbial report didn’t mention bacteria that were a focus of original announcements of success back in 2005.

Results are frustratingly variable. Targets are moving further away all the time. Almost a year since over-night trial of long-term lenses.

I have been wondering too how the following arrangement is going…

Daily disposable contact lens
This work is currently conducted through a collaborative development agreement with a lens manufacturer. The development agreement is due to expire at the end of February 2007. The contact lens company has expressed strong interest in continuing our collaboration. The lens company is presently involved in merger and acquisition discussions with third parties, which has caused some distraction. Apparently the merger discussions should be resolved by the end of March. Biosignal will confirm the status of the project at that time.
