Not sure about the article, but was a bigger stinker then the underarm controversy.

The JV, back in 1996, had grand plans to drill 44 wells in this block & the nearby 2 blocks, but after Cornea & Sparkle discovery, realised that there wasn't much potential, so handed over the block after few dusters, amidst a hue & cry. Cost them a fortune.

Note, these are wells are all shallow, i.e. under 900m total drilled depth, so max 15-21 days drilling etc.
