I'd be amazed if any of that is completed this quarter. Big mistake thinking ME countries operate anything like Western countries. You just have to look at the garbage AUQ have had to wade through to get this far. I've just been reading about the conduct of legal trials foreigners have faced in Dubai. If you are charged with an offence you'll rot in jail for a couple of months (if you're lucky) until your trial date comes around. Then on the day of the trial the judge fronts up for an hour or so then just goes home after setting next hearing for the next month or two. Same thing can happen at the next hearing. Third hearing, guess what? a different judge might hear your case, the judge who heard all the evidence isn't even there anymore. And so it goes on. Just what happened to AUQ with the judge on the BOG hearing the Menagem case. As for getting finance you can just imagine what goes on behind the scenes - no wonder the market avoids investment in companies relying on ME customs, rules and regulations. I'm in front a little on AUQ so far but at the earliest opportunity after finance is secured (assuming it ever is) I'll be out of this dog ASAP.
