Still hard to get most tradesmen , 2 month + wait for aircon instalations, similar with electrical work. If that is anything to go by. I personally had to leave Queensland because the work completely dried up and who I was working for at that moment, Oceaneering closed its Brisbane office. So it really depends on how you look at the economy, what statistics and so on. Also from my experience Beer sells for half the price in QL than in WA.
