from my experience.
The change from 3 shifts to 2 shifts was suppose to be about lack of demand of product but maybe the union was called and the $2m is what was owed to workers. Ie overtime, super, holday pay,longservice leave,maybe they were paid the wrong rate to start with.,sick leave which might be accumulative as in Public service.
Ive been here before and while its nice to have some cash in the pocket I always lost my job.
