There was an ASX announcement on 10 Feb that Contango Capital Partners - CCP (formerly Contango Asset Management Partners Ltd) has increased its share of CTN to 1,635,133 (8.26 %) but Commsec claim CCP hold 918,198 (12.70%) after selling 918,198 on 1 Feb 2010.
Can anyone explain how this conflicting info stands up? Has CCP sold extra shares between these dates that do not show up on the Commsec website?
I also note that the announcement of 1 Feb 2010 listing the top 20 holders of CTN does not include CCP when they are apparently the largest shareholder. Most curious.
Any thought of liquidating CTN must consider the CCP share which would likely oppose.
